Whiskey Glasses - A Tribute to Morgan Wallen Virginia Beach Concert reviews
Peter Gabriel-opening night of summer fest
Whiskey Glasses - A Tribute to Morgan Wallen's voice is excellent. The video visuals were excellent. Dennis DeYoung tours as "the music of Styx". The show hardly ever got out of first gear. But to pay $140.00 for a show and not even get to hear "Shock the Monkey" or "Sledgehammer" and who knows what others I'm forgetting was simply not sensitive to the audience. It was kind of a sleeper and I was bummed out. There needs to be variety. No variety in the show. He incorporates an awesome rock band as well as the orchestra feel. I suppose when you have had so much success, fame, and money you can have the "I don't care...they will take what I give them" approach. The tickets that I bought were also directly behind the sound booth. If it wasn't for the lack of attendance, I wouldn't have been able to move 7 seats to my right. So that wasn't good planning either. When buying them I didn't think it a problem as the seating at the Marcus is 'theater seating'. Total stage obstruction. For the money.....hmm....I give it a fair. I was thoroughly disappointed.
